Hundreds of staff leave Edinburgh University amid cuts drive

A Freedom of Information (FO) request submitted by The Herald has revealed that 373 staff at the university accepted ‘voluntary severance’, also known as ‘mutually agreed termination’, between 1 August 2024 and 4 November 2025.
