Welsh schools on edge of financial precipice as report shows staggering deficit

One in four Welsh schools are overspent with a combined national deficit of £72m, official figures show. The eye watering sum comes as headteachers warn they are "in survival mode" with job cuts, increased class sizes and reduced subject choices in some schools.
